Jafri Oriental Rugs adds this stitching to enclose a rug edges to cover flaws or restore area rugs that don't look their best. Our superior rug serging repair returns your rug's like-new appearance and includes:

Measuring rug edge lengths and widths, then cutting the required amount of rug tape.
A large-eyed needle and two lengths of heavy-duty thread secure the tape to the rug's edge. We fold it over the raw edge and stitch it in place.
We use two lengths of serging thread per needle and begin serge stitching by piercing the rug's front side with the thread ends unknotted.
To finish wrapping the taped edge with yarn, we continue stitching as evenly and close as possible.
